Why does uBreakiFix need web developers?

In addition to our customer facing website uBreakFix.com, we have developed a highly-customized ecommerce and supply line system.

We are constantly iterating on this application and we are always driving to better the user and ultimately the customer experience, with multi-year goals.

What kind of developers are we looking for?

We are looking the for strong PHP developers with a great foundation in OOP and most importantly, are great problem solvers, great collaborators and all around team players. Developers not afraid of trying something new, prying into old code and coming up with complex queries.

What is the team and work environment like?

We’re SCRUM-lite, with a small development team, dedicated QA, and a Project Manager/SCRUM Master. Collaboration between everyone is paramount.

uBreakiFix is nearly 300 stores and growing fast, in our Orlando home office we have a relaxed and very casual environment and encourage regular visits to the office kegs, Freestyle soda machine or one of a half dozen ways of making coffee. If you tend to take yourself seriously, and the occasional stray nerf dart has been known to set you off, or you absolutely hate the idea of seeing adults race hoverboards, this may not be the place for you.

What’s the Pay?

Honestly that depends on you. We are casting a wide net and welcome resumes and code samples from all developers. Salary will depend on skill and experience.

Requirements :

• Be a full-stack web developer i.e. front-end & back-end.

• Demonstrated experience in jQuery.

• Develop high-quality PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

• Bootstrap experience.

• Have experience implementing UX and UI designs.

• Experience creating complex SQL queries with multiple joins.

• Be a team player.

• Be available to work onsite.

• Experience adhering to requirements written requirements.

• Willingness to speak up when you think something can be done better or differently.

• Experience in modern Agile Methodologies like SCRUM is a plus.

• Understanding of data modeling and SQL
