Full Stack .NET Developer

A Full Stack .NET Developer will assist in developing new web applications to meet business needs. This position will maintain and enhance mobile applications and will create documentation for all projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with our development and QA groups to enhance our existing proprietary web applications.
• Develop new web applications to meet business needs.
• Develop, maintain and enhance mobile applications.
• Respond to production issues on an as-needed basis.
• Create and maintain documentation for all projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5+ years of experience developing web applications.
• Highly proficient with NET, VB.NET, and Javascript.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, TSQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Normalized Relational Databases and Microsoft IIS.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks such as CSS3, JQuery, etc would be useful.
• A solid understanding of web standards and best practices for usability, maintainability, and testability.
• The self-discipline and communication skills required to work with a full-time telecommute team.
• Knowledge of employee benefits or insurance industry practices is a plus.

• Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Salary & Compensation

The compensation package includes an annual salary of $80,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Telecommute Requirements

For individuals not located primarily in the greater Harrisburg area, full-time telecommuting is allowed. Telecommuters must have a safe, secure, dedicated work environment which can be accessed by no one but you. You must provide your own high speed internet connection.. You must comply with all of the safety regulations that apply to a professional office, including a safe work environment free of clutter, exposed wiring, slippery surfaces, etc. As a telecommute employee, you are responsible for adhering to your assigned schedule and providing an accurate accounting of the completion of all job tasks performed. BenefitVision offices are typically open Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 9 PM EDT and employees must be available during their assigned work hours. Any schedule changes must be pre-approved by your supervisor.
