Reporting to the CTO and working in very close collaboration with our .NET Development Team, you will:

  • Work directly with our Agile teams to design and develop business applications and mobile applications to support current and future product development.
  • Use the .NET Core Framework, MVC, SQL Server, WebAPI, Xamarin and other similar tools to implement scalable systems, mobile applications, and accessible REST APIs to support business needs.
  • Use JavaScript to implement progressive enhancement in applications to make them extremely flexible and accessible for the end user.
  • Focus on stable and intuitive User Experience with emphasis on end-user approachability and technical re-usability.
  • Act as a resource to other developers by building re-usable tools and services which will increase and maintain a high level of security, maintainability, and reliability in our systems.
  • Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and on individual projects/tasks.
  • Must have experience implementing both the front end and back end of systems in an MVC environment as well as experience with both iOS and Android development, deployment, and maintenance with Xamarin.
  • Must have experience building modern native mobile applications, .NET applications, and APIs
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • High level of autonomous problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for building well-designed, maintainable, reliable systems using industry accepted best practices and modern development patterns.
  • Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of software system design and architecture, available technologies, and available tools.
  • Experience with the .NET framework, SQL Server, and scalable cloud systems used in the development of open APIs and line-of-business applications.
  • Proven experience building and deploying native mobile applications using Xamarin.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug and develop web pages using HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Previous experience with the development of secure applications and scalable high availability systems.

    Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

  • COVID-19 considerations:
    We are a fully remote development team. We currently do not travel for group meetings, but post-COVID we would like to meet 2-4 times a year as a team if possible.
