Responsibilities

Implement high-quality code in an agile, test-driven development environment.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure a high level of code quality and usage of appropriate design patterns

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience
2+ years of experience working with UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
3+ years of experience designing and implementing highly scalable systems and platforms
Experience working with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Strong understanding and experience working with features and utility functions of jQuery
3+ years of experience working with Java and J2EE technologies
3+ years of experience working on Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
2+ years of experience with test-driven development in an agile software environment.
Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git
