Full Stack Engineer

Baidu USA, located in Silicon Valley, is looking for world-class engineers to join its IDG team a.k.a. Intelligent Driving Group. The IDG team is aiming to develop advanced autonomous driving technologies which will let us transform mobility and improve the lives of billions of people. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our simulation team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the following software applications
• Visualization tools for autonomous driving
• User interaction interfaces to autonomous vehicles
• Simulation backend both in the cloud and on development machines
• Web interfaces for developers to the simulator

Required skills:

• B.S. in computer science or related fields, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
• At least 3 years of internet industry experience
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Javascript
• Solid knowledge in networking, database, and cloud
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Node.js and React is a plus
• Experience in simulation related work is a plus
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
