Full Stack Developer – Summer Intern – Python / C#.NET / AWS

REPAY – Realtime Electronic Payments is an established and fast growing, Financial Technology company. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer Intern to work on specialized, software development projects out of our Phoenix office.

We build great software that enables businesses to move faster by removing friction in payment processing. You don’t need to know the payments industry. All you need to do is bring your coding passion and motivation. REPAY’s product set includes all payment types including Credit and Debit Card processing, ACH processing, and Instant Funding. Not only do we execute the payment transaction, but we support the distribution and collection of funds between merchant and consumer.

What’s a Technology Internship like at REPAY?

As an Intern at REPAY, you will work on projects with the potential to create real success for real customers. You will gain hands-on experience in a post-startup environment, working in a security conscious industry, with supportive co-workers from a wide range of backgrounds and knowledge. REPAY’s technology stack is nothing but the latest and greatest (e.g. Python, React, AWS, Postgres). You’ll be part of a team that’s building an amazing business. Our Engineering and Technology internships are all paid. You should plan for a 40 hour work week. Our team works in the office Monday thru Friday. We’d like you on-site especially 9 to 5(ish). The Summer Internship program will run from June 12, 2017 to August 4, 2017 .

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

• Currently enrolled, rising Junior or Senior, in a post-secondary academic institution with significant coursework in Computer Science (major not required)

• Comfortable with the following programming languages, tools (and are comfortable learning new ones): Python, C#.NET, Java, PHP
• Consider rapid and continuous high-quality development both requirements, not trade-offs
• Understand Design and Business requirements beyond the written word (whether you’re working on an API used by other developers, an internal tool for our operations team, or a feature used by our users, your attention to detail leads to a great user experience)
• Excited to dig into new things you’ve never done before
• Love building things that will make others successful
• You play nice with others, our team is about collaboration and quality engineering, not big egos
• Good communicator, able to document your work for future customers and developers
