Full Stack Developer

Position: Full Stack Developer

FLSA: Full-Time

Location: Burlingame, CA

Reports To: VP of IT

Lahlouh, Inc. is looking for a versatile full stack engineer extraordinaire to join the team. We are looking for a smart and energetic developer who wants to take part in designing and implementing customer-facing applications and integrations, leveraging open source where possible and filling in the gaps with clean, tested, maintainable code.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with project management and marketing teams to define and cater to the client experiences, to design and implement application components and services.
• Design and develop rich single-page application that combines consumer-grade usability and design sensibility with enterprise-grade performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Take ownership and rapidly iterate while collaborating actively as part of a small, highly talented team.
• Have strong appreciation for data collection and analytics, focusing on BI.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals, object-oriented design and web technologies.
• Strong experience developing in Python and Java.
• JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, AJAX
• Expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS
• Experience developing RESTful web service APIs with Node.js and Apache.
• Experience architecting and consuming REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL and MS SQL), including the use of SQL.
• Server-side languages like PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript, and .Net
• Extensive testing experience, both at unit level and system level.
• Strong knowledge of GITHub.
• Experience with Crystal Reports is preferred.
• Demonstrated personal organization, attention to detail, creativity, conscientiousness, entrepreneurship and ability to work in a team.

Helpful qualifications:

• Strong quality focus including automation, design reviews, and unit testing.
• Flexible approach to analyzing technical issues and clearly communicating recommendations/solutions.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 7+ yr experience in software development, preferably as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
