Full Stack Developer

Software Engineer
SQUIRE is looking for a Software Engineer that can own the full lifecycle of our platform. You will be required to bring creativity and technology prowess to our solutions. We are a growing company and are seeking an innovator to grow with us. The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to jump into a Y Combinator funded startup and build the next phase of Squire products from the ground up. The right person will be a product/technical ambassador for Squire charged with constructing the building blocks to establish a great team, scalable solution, and technical excellence.

As a Software Engineer at Squire, you will work on specific projects critical to Squire success – switch projects as you and our fast-paced company grow and evolve. We need solid technical foundation and the right person will be versatile, display leadership qualities, built teams, and be ready to tackle new problems across the full-stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the Squire technology
• Drive a roadmap to develop and launch highly visible user facing features
• Construct the technical approach and platform architecture for success
• Define the technical needs and resources
• Find, recruit, and hire great team members committed to innovation and excellence
• Guide technical discussions and customer onboarding

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science
• 4 years of experience in software development, including experience
• Portfolio of products and solutions that demonstrate the technical expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science
• Strong programming experience with:
• Cloud Deployment: AWS, Google Cloud, etc
• MEAN development and stack maintenance
• Web development: HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc
• Mobile development: iOS, Android
• Past experience with DevOps, customer support, and high availability systems
• Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Capable of technical deep-dives into code, networking, operating systems and storage, yet verbally and cognitively agile

Compensation

• $140k – $175k
• .75%-3%
