VIP would like to engage a senior software developer.. The individual will be working on a web/mobile based system that is being created to retire an existing sales system. The individual will need have the ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast paced scrum/agile environment.

Other Responsibilities would also include:

• Ability to effectively work with Business Product Owner(s).
• Take complex requirements and help the scrum team produce effective solutions.
• Ability to look at the current system and analyze an effective implementation strategy.
• Support development teams with tools and configurations to streamline the development and release processes.
• Support development teams with frameworks for cross cutting concerns.
• Implement/develop tools to monitor the production system.

Requirements:

• 7+ years development experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of Microsoft Visual Studio experience.
• Minimum 2-4 years of applied JavaScript experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of applied HTML and CSS experience.
• Minimum 4 years of applied C# .Net experience.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL Stored Procedures.

Preferred:

• JavaScript framework
• Typescript
• AngularJS, Knockout or equivalent
• Node
• Gulp
• Experience with ASP.NET WebAPI 2 Restful web services.
• Source Code Repositories: TFS.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum Methodologies.
• Experience with large, complex relational databases and query optimization.
• Background or interest in biology or agriculture.
• Experience with iOS, Android, HTML5, CSS3 and other leading edge technologies useful but not required experience configuring and provisioning Azure resources.
• Experience configuring TFS/Visual Studio releases and deployments.
• Experience configuring Octopus Deploy.
