Full Stack Developer

JOB SUMMARY: The Full Stack Developer maintains existing code and ensures proper performance of existing applications. The Developer will build new .NET applications and new SharePoint features from the ground up.

The position will also leverage third-party solutions and will be required to research, review, purchase, install and maintain the code.

The Essential Functions Include:

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior developers.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable web applications, including;
  • User interfaces.
  • Integrations with third party web services.
  • New or existing databases.
  • Participate in design and code review to ensure quality and testability of feature code.
  • Implement test automation to validate new and existing code.
  • Support existing web applications, including;
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Bug fixes.
  • Required upgrades.
  • Modifications to existing functionality.
  • Develop Agile software methodologies.
  • Design and consume RESTful Web Services-based APIs.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
  • Minimum Hiring Standards:

    Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
    • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
    • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
    • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

    Education/Experience :

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field with at least three to five years of experience with SharePoint Designer platform, and coding with HTML, CSS, JS/JQuery/Razor, ASP.NET, SQL/MySQL.

    Competencies (As Demonstrated Through Experience, Training, and/or Testing ):

    • HTML coding, CSS, JS/JQuery/Razor, and ASP.Net experience.
    • Experience with unit testing and test driven development, preferred.
    • Working knowledge of scalable platform architecture, end to end system design, and architecture, preferred.
    • Knowledgeable of backend development best practices.
    • Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
    • Attentive to details and accuracy.
    • Able to work in a fast paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions.
    • Serve as an effective team member.
    • Able to work independently and within groups.
    • Computer skills; Microsoft Office, SharePoint Designer platform, InfoPath, Visual Studio, Cordova, Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
