Full Charge Bookkeeper

Kuberneo CPA is hiring! We are looking for an experienced, full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to add to our growing team.

Job Description

We are searching for a skilled accounting professional with extensive experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have strong people skills and be knowledgeable in the areas of accounting and bookkeeping to serve as a partner with our clients.

Compensation commensurate with experience. Work location is in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.

Responsibilities

• Record client bank transactions and prepare payroll calculations
• Bank reconciliations, record journal entries, cash reporting
• Maintain financial reporting, records and general ledger accounts
• Maintain the fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules and ensure proper recording of new purchases and dispositions
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
• Handle routine client questions, and work with clients to obtain necessary information for financials and tax return completion
• Provide administrative support where needed (answering phone calls, covering front desk, emails etc.)

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Excellent organizational, client service and communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task with the ability to work in team environment and autonomously
• Detail oriented and accuracy is essential
• Demonstrates the ability to identify issues and propose and implement solutions
• Experience with construction accounting a plus
• Accounting degree is not required but is a plus
