About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. The ideal candidate has prior experience developing rich web applications using AngularJS, is passionate about user experience, and is motivated to learn. The environment is casual yet fast-paced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features

Coordinate with the User Experience team to provide best-in-class user experiences in the StackPath portal

Implement mockups as production-ready code with unit and functional tests

Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality code and cooperative learning

Rapid prototype new interfaces to get early feedback from the product and support teams

Bridge the gap between the graphic design and technical implementation

Build reusable components and libraries for future use

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Ensure that all user input is validated before being passed to the API

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant industry experience

Experience developing rich web applications using AngularJS

Experience resolving cross-browser compatibility issues

Experience using git flow on a development team

Proficient in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)

Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing frameworks such as LESS or SASS

Experience resizing and optimizing images using Gimp or Photoshop desired
