A leading consumer products company located in South Florida is seeking a Front-End Developer to assist in the development and maintenance of our Ecommerce websites.

About the Job:

The Front-End Developer is responsible for design changes and assisting with other site related maintenance and updates. The position is at our new office in Pompano Beach, FL.

Description:

This position will be responsible for converting PSD to a clean and modern front-end template for our Ecommerce platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

The Front-End Developer’s duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Create cross browser, HTML and CSS code
• Strong HTML and CSS skills in supporting Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE 9, 10+
• Perform the timely implementation of designs provided by our design staff.
• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
• Make use of Javascript / Ajax / jQuery coding to enrich the existing web pages.
• Collaborate effectively with team members: UX, designers, and developers to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the design solution

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years hands-on experience in responsive website design, CSS/HTML5 and JQuery
• Experience with PSD to HTML and willingness to learn Magento Front-end theming
• Working knowledge in JavaScript and PHP.
• Passionate about modern front-end web development.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual and resourceful.
• Good self-management and communication skills
• Ability to multi task in a high energy, collaborative environment

Job Type:

Full Time Employment

Salary:

Starting salary of $65,000 per year plus medical coverage after 90 days.

Required Education:

High school or equivalent

Required Experience:

A minimum of two years’ front end development experience is preferred.

Magento development experience a plus
