Front-End Web Developer

We are searching for an entry to mid-level front-end web developer whose passion lies in the creation of highly polished web-based user experiences, but also wants to get out from behind the desk from time-to-time to meet with customers.

Within a team you’ll create websites from Photoshop files using HTML and CSS. Though not required for the position, those with JavaScript experience (or have the desire to learn JS) will be given the opportunity on most projects to program animations and other interactive pieces.

This individual will meet with customers a few times per month to conduct CMS training and, when beneficial to a project, attend client meetings with a UX expert to help plan the project.

Responsibilities

• Convert designs into HTML and CSS
• Ensure proper display and functionality of websites across browsers and devices
• Conduct customer CMS training sessions
• Occasionally meet with customers to help plan projects
• Collaborate with your team and share knowledge

Requirements

• 1+ years of development experience
• Must demonstrate knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience using a version control system such as Git or SVN

Bonus Points

• Experience using PostCSS / SASS, Gulp, Browserify, etc.
