Front-End Web Developer

Gigantic Design Co. is looking for an inspired, driven individual to develop interactive web sites at it’s Dubuque, Iowa based studio. Applicants should have experience writing semantic, modular front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and JQuery. Understanding the concepts of mobile first design and development are highly encouraged. Experience with Sass and ExpressionEngine are a plus.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Front-End Web Developer.
Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery.
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
Implementing best practices for SEO.
Working with the Adobe Suite. Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
Develop sites that work across multiple device platforms (mobile, tablet, and desktop).
Excellent analytical and multi-tasking skills.
Demonstrate ability to understand and use analytics to make informed front-end decisions.
Be able to provide accurate estimates on projects.
Work well independently and with a team.
Possess effective consulting skills and positive customer service experience.
Experience with content management systems a plus.
Be able to work in a collaborative, fun and fast-paced work environment with people that are passionate about what they do.
