Front End Engineer – React and Node

Shiftboard is looking for a front-end developer who cares about user experience and code as a craft. This role will focus on projects implementing new features and maintaining our Shiftboard applications in the React and Node frameworks.

You will be part of a collaborative and growing team, working to enhance and resurface our product to drive our continued growth. Our responsive designs ensure our apps work well across mobile, tablet and desktops and are built upon our backend API. Working with our back-end developers, you will ensure API methods are tuned to deliver a quality product to our customers. Your work will directly contribute to our success!

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React and Node preferred)
• Strong experience working with a variety of APIs
• Passion for evaluating new tech & determining potential benefits and applications
• Desire to be part of a collaborative team and work with smart engineers who will challenge you
• You are a self-motivated, collaborative and an avid technologist
• Desire to be part of a team and work with other smart engineers
• Local candidates that do not require sponsorship
