Front End Engineer

We’re a growing, dynamic energy analytics & intelligence company based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado looking for a Front-End Engineer who can help us continue to grow. You will contribute to a highly extensible and customizable templating system using modern front-end technology. You’ll work closely with skilled engineering teams and our cutting-edge, cloud-based platform to generate millions of personalized energy-saving reports and messages per month. The printed reports and emails that you develop will help us achieve our goal of reducing energy consumption and increasing customer engagement and satisfaction for our energy provider partners and their customers.

What You’ll Do

Develop, contribute to, and test handlebars.js report templates with HTML and CSS

Convert design mockups into front-end Web and email

Use JavaScript libraries like D3 and Highcharts to craft responsive data visualizations and infographics

Create responsive emails that render correctly on all supported email applications and devices

Use tools like Litmus/Email on Acid to validate rendering

Work closely with Product Management, Designers and Developers

Manage multiple high priority tasks through effective planning and open communication with the team

What you bring to Tendril

A BS in Computer Science, graduate of a front-end code school OR equivalent

1 plus years applicable experience and a desire to learn

HTML and SCSS

JavaScript

A high level of visual orientation and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Experience with visualizations libraries such as Highcharts/D3

Print CSS

Semantic HTML
