Front End Developer

As a Front End Developer, your responsibility will be primarily coding, implementing user flows, internal tools, and applying a consistent look and feel across the site. You’ll be working closely with other developers and stakeholders in order to fulfill requirements and make the customer experience the best it can be. The core concept of Peach is to provide absolute convenience in the food delivery space, and this philosophy should be a part of every step of the user interaction. Peach is a fast-paced work environment with small teams focused on solving concrete problems and feeding the masses!

Responsibilities

Develop and implement webpages and user flows.

Use RESTful APIs to integrate with systems built by our back-end engineers.

Coordinate with product stakeholders to understand their requirements/issues in order to implement the correct solutions for them.

Test features and manage rollouts to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Contribute ideas to help Peach grow and improve our software, operations, and scalability.

Track and measure the impact of the feature and changes that you are rolling out.

Requirements

2+ years of experience working in a software engineering position.

Proficient programming in HTML, JavaScript, or other high-level programming language. Knowledge of Python is a plus.

Experience with the full web technology stack and MVC frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, Django, or other similar frameworks.

Proficient in CSS, SASS, LESS, or other CSS pre-processors. Experience with CSS frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap is a plus.

Experience with Front End development tools such as NPM, Grunt, Gulp, Bower, etc.

Good understanding of web technology stacks, including browser caching, cookies, HTTP requests and response mechanisms, etc.

Confidence in learning new programming languages.

Passion for solving dynamic challenges and building scalable systems.

Great sense of ownership over your work.

Love of Food!

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience with illustration/prototyping tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch is a plus.
