Concepta is looking for a Front-End Developer to help with architecture and planning of large scale applications in the enterprise market for Fortune 500 companies.

What You Will Be Doing

Tailoring user experience

Bringing a designer’s concept to life with HTML 5, CSS 3, and JavaScript

Production, modification, and maintenance of websites and web application user interfaces

Creating tools that enhance how users see and interact with your site in any browser

Implementing responsive design for mobile sites

Contributing some back-end experience, collaborating on APIs, and more

Maintaining software workflow management with a version control system tool like Bitbucket and task runners like Grunt and/or Gulp

Consulting on SEO best practices

Testing the site during development for usability and fixing any bugs

Requirements

4+ years of web development using HTML 5, CSS 3, frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, KendoUI, Sencha, or similar frameworks.

4+ years of front-end development using JavaScript, React, Backbone.js, Angular.js or similar libraries

3+ years experience interfacing with Restful services

3+ years translating user stories into new features and defining/updating new endpoints with backend team

Nice to Have

2+ years of experience with back-end services development in one or more of the following technologies: .NET, Node, PHP.

2+years experience working with databases such as MySQL or Oracle and writing SQL queries.

Experience with NOSQL – MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

Preferred Qualifications: * Node.js experience

TDD experience with a unit test framework preferred.

Understands how to optimize front end

Experience with search engines, e.g. elastic search

Have strong communication skills, and be able to work as well with the other developers as they do the customer and Product
