RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Front Desk:

  • Greet patients
  • Verify patient?s information/data in the computer
  • Provide assistance and information to patient when requested
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
  • Ask patient to complete comment card and place in box
  • Monitor and assure that clinic forms are replenished in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper credit/payment is maintained on patient?s account

(performs cashiering duties, posting charges, prints out receipt, etc)

  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings as directed
  • Maintain photocopier machine to ensure adequate paper and distribute incoming

faxes in a timely manner

  • Scan patient information (driver?s license, insurance cards) /and patient reports into

computer system

  • Verify insurance

  • Computer knowledge (programs Word and Excel)
  • HIPAA rules and regulations
