Fraud Support Specialist

The Fraud Support

Specialist serves as a resource supporting the Fraud Risk Mitigation

team in the administration of daily fraud mitigation efforts. The Specialist will

assist in the reporting of suspected fraud activity to regulatory agencies,

maintaining and updating data sets (Black list, chargeback lists, etc.) needed

to detect and deter fraud; and assisting in the maintenance and generation of

various Fraud Risk Mitigation reports.

Responsible for

day to day data entry into various systems necessary for effective fraud

mitigation.

Uses various computer software for tracking,

information gathering and/or trouble shooting the issues raised by the Fraud

Mitigation Team.

Assists in the generation of reports used by

the Fraud Team for effective mitigation practices.

Recognizes consistent problem areas and

reports to higher level for action.

Partners

with the Fraud Analysts on process improvements and workflow to ensure business

objectives are met.

Assists in

developing revised standards and methods for processes and procedures within

the department.

Reports suspected and confirmed fraud activity to various

regulatory agencies.

High School diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years insurance, banking, or analytics experience Intermediate working knowledge of Excel Mobile claims adjudication experience Experience working with and querying SQL

Databases Knowledge of internal business processes Analytical Mindset Ability to recognize and recommend areas

needing improvement Ability to comprehend, adhere to, and

execute on procedural requirements Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other MS

Office applications Excellent verbal and written communication

skills, interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to effectively relay accurate and detailed information to

various parties via telephone calls, written communication, in team meetings,

and training sessions
