Financial Services Investment Banking Analyst (SF)

The Financial Services Investment Banking Analyst will be involved in all facets of JMP’s investment banking activities, including supporting private and public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services across the financial services group. The Analyst will work directly in support of the financial services group’s senior bankers covering auto, consumer, commercial and mortgage finance as well as technology-enabled financial services.

The specific responsibilities of the Analyst will include: financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, coordination of various processes involved in a financing or sale, and preparation of offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials for meetings with clientele.

Requirements:

• Live in, or ability to relocate to, San Francisco

• 1-2 years of investment banking experience

• Bachelor’s degree along with outstanding academic achievement

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Financial services experience is a plus but not required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Superior work ethic

• U.S. work authorization required
