OMES is seeking a full time, unclassified Financial Reporting Analyst. This is a full time unclassified position in state government. Position Summary

Provides support to OMES Finance and primarily uses personal computer systems for database analysis, word processing, spreadsheet and graphic software applications, to produce cash flow analysis, the requisite schedules, charts, graphs, financial statements and reports.

Position Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Cash Flow Analysis

• Budget Preparation

• Budget to Actual Analysis

• Billing and Personnel Databases

• Ad hoc Reporting as assigned

• Other duties as assigned

Other Duties

• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.

• Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers.

Education and Experience

Certified Public Accountant or eligible and working toward CPA Certification, and two (2) years of experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting field.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

• CPA Certification

• Governmental accounting experience

• Experience working with general ledger and ERP systems

Valued Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of integrated database systems, ERP systems, and queries

• Strong communication skills
