Summary The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Coordinator tasked with completing the preliminary activities necessary to produce the monthly financial reporting package and is expected to interface regularly with members of the Accounting department as well as other operational department contacts. The Coordinator of FP&A will also participate in the annual budget preparation process and provide support to the FP&A team to produce any requested ad hoc analysis and reports.

Job Responsibilities

Generate the monthly department operating expense summary reports.

Run and reconcile the corresponding account transactional detail for each department’s operating expense report.

Compile and reconcile data for the Capital Expense Update report and any other key performance indicator reports.

Investigate unusual balances, re-classes, variances and fluctuations in the financials.

Development of annual departmental budget templates with expense detail and variance analysis.

Manage the day-to-day upkeep of Financial Planning & Analysis budgeting, expense management and travel systems.

Make recommendations for enhancing organizational financial performance.

Ad hoc reporting to inform revenue and expense decisions.

Oversight of corporate purchasing programs.

Job Requirements

1 – 2 years of experience in accounting or financial planning & analysis.

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or business.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.

Team player with independent initiative.

Thorough and analytical attention to detail and critical thinking, with initiative to implement process improvement.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with ability to manage concurrent projects/timelines.

Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.General ledger and report writing experience with Dynamics GP (Great Plains), Management Reporter, or Adaptive Insights, a plus.

Sports industry work experience a plus.
