Financial Controller/Bookkeeper

We are a local, small business in the insurance restoration industry. We are seeking a talented new member to be a part of a rapidly growing company. With so much growth year after year, outsourcing our bookkeeping is no longer an option….

We are looking for a full time, experienced applicant who enjoys tracking down money coming in, monitoring payments going out, and being a huge part of ensuring the both the immediate, and overall long term health of the business.

The Financial Controller position is key to maintaining the continued growth of the business. This can only be done by being systematic about cash flow in a very organized way. Accounts receivables need to be managed in a methodical way that ensure payments are released by insurance companies in a timely manner, and collected from customers in full. The same level of organization applies to accounts payable being paid timely, payroll, day to day business expenses, job cost cards, business banking, and profit and loss sheets.

Applicant must have bookkeeping back ground, be very familiar with quickbooks, and able to produce monthly and yearly reports for tax returns when required.

The ideal candidate must be, not only competent working with different computer applications, but also not afraid to pick up the phone to make a call to solve a problem. Experience in the storm damage industry and xactimate is a huge plus. Experience using Acculynx also a huge plus. Two week and ongoing training provided.
