Financial Analyst – Make an Immediate Impact

A client of mine, a consumer product company located in the New York City area is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. The company has recently had an explosion of growth and they now need more eyes on the financials. A qualified candidate will have corporate finance experience from a consumer good company or related internship experience. This role will join a team of four where they will work closely with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can bring new ideas to the table and be heard.

Responsibilities:

• Work with FP&A team with date sourcing, research, ad hoc analysis, along with financial modeling

• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports

• Prepare ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision making

• Build and manage accurate financial models

• Be able to identify trends using KPI’s

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related area

• 1+ years of related industry experience a must

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups a must)

• General understanding of GAAP

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment

• High attention to detail

Salary: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
