Financial Analyst Intern

The Finance function provides the required and necessary financial information to Freescale’s shareholders, debt holders, executive management, the Board of Directors and the Securities Exchange Commission. Freescale Finance offers a great opportunity to broaden business skills within a multinational environment by interacting closely with management in evaluating significant transactions and formulating recommendations for business process optimization.
– Provide assistance in the accounting/analysis for specific areas as directed by their manager.
– Perform specific projects as defined by manager.
– Contributor in the monthly close process, and expense as well as recording of necessary journal entries and account analysis.
Qualifications:
Working on BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance preferred, but not required.
Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
Strong critical reasoning skills, independent judgment and objectivity.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and at all levels of the organization.
