Financial Analyst II

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for accuracy and timely completion of report requests, projects, monthly reports, and departmental budget.
  • Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.
  • Develop an understanding of fields to which statistical methods are to be applied in order to determine whether methods and results are appropriate.
  • Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data.
  • Evaluate sources of information in order to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability
  • Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research.
  • Complete staffing analysis and productivity analysis as needed.
  • Write and deliver reports/queries ranging from simple to complex.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.

Job Expertise – Possesses sufficient knowledge to perform effectively in one’s specialty area and staying up-to-date with the latest technology, industry trends, organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; preferably a degree in the field of Statistics, Economics, Industrial/organizational Psychology, Organizational development, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics
24 months of related experience and/or training
Must have the ability to operate general office equipment and computers.
Must be proficient in the use of various software programs, including Microsoft Excel.
Must have the capability to rapidly learn new software applications.
