Financial Analyst I

Direct Responsibilities will include:

• Support corporate decision making by providing value-added reports and analysis.
• Support of key business stakeholders including Products and Market Groups teams.
• Participate in the quarterly forecasting process, including build, analysis, and report outs of forecasts which highlight business changes to senior leadership team
• Report variances to planning scenarios with driver based explanations
• Learn to be a Subject Matter Expert with regards to financial planning, analysis, and reporting of a suite of product offerings
• Contribute to the annual planning function, including modeling and analyzing budgets
• Ad hoc analysis and financial modeling with the goal of highlighting actionable insights to the business leaders

• Drive process improvement within financial planning and reporting as necessary
• Data mining projects
• Assist internal business units with project-based analytical work

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a Finance or Accounting focus
• Familiarity with the SaaS-based business model a plus
• 1+ years proven successful track record working across organizations and functional areas
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities within tight deadlines
• Quantitative aptitude and analytical experience with the ability to present complex financial results and relationships simply
• Expertise with enterprise planning and reporting tools (i.e. Hyperion, Oracle, SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Adaptive Planning)
• Experience with financial and operational process improvement
• Superior Excel skills, proficiency with Access or other databases, and experience with data extraction and manipulation
