Financial Analyst I

Nalco Champion, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst in our Energy Services – WellChem business unit located in Sugar Land. Key Objectives:
To provide accurate and timely development and maintenance of pricing guidance and related analytics. To provide thorough P&L analytics to support the business unit in achieving the financial goals.

Territory/Location Information: This position is based in the Sugar Land, TX area.

Main Responsibilities:
Perform profitability analyses and provide pricing guidance consistent to business unit’s pricing objectives.

Provide projected P&L visibility on major tenders and other commercial support.

Develop and maintain regular as well as ad hoc reporting materials to global WellChem leadership including P&L and other profitability analyses.

Perform deep dive analyses to identify improvement opportunities to the P&L

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, FP&A, etc) to achieve business objectives

Support planning and forecasting processes for the WellChem business unit.

Support month end closing activities. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field

2+ years of related work experience with commercial finance and FP&A

High level of computer literacy, especially Excel Preferred Qualifications:

Proactive, driven to deliver results in a timely manner, and team-work culture.

Ability to multi-task in a very dynamic environment

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

SAP experience
