Financial Analyst I

Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for filling the role of financial analyst, supporting major program, as well as miscellaneous task order awards. Prepares weekly and monthly financial reports that are delivered to the customer; pulls weekly GL reports from COGNOS and reconciles that data, preparing and submitting adjusting entries as required when errors are discovered; enters task revisions in local financial system; puts employees in the workforce and generates work authorization memos; prepares project setup forms to the project setup team can enter new charge numbers; tracks and processes contract deliverables. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education:
Must have BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. One (1) years Contract Management experience, to include: Development of Program Acquisition Documentation, Data Collection and Analysis. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures. Strong excel skills required.

Preferred Skills and Education:
Preferred Deltek Costpoint and COGNOS experience.
