Financial Analyst – Corporate FP&A

Purpose of Position:

The Financial Analyst will be at the heart of our business as the analytical engine to provide insights into financial and operational performance. You will be the point of reference for the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and primarily responsible for quantitative development. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly complex global environment bridging the gap across our portfolio of product lines.

Our growing Corporate Finance team in our Tucson office has an immediate need for the Financial Analyst, FP&A role. The ideal candidate must have strong quantitative skills, advanced qualitative (writing / presentations) experience, and a desire to make an immediate impact.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:

· Build & maintain forecasting model across business areas / lines

· Consolidate data from sources to incorporate financial schedules, resources, plans, etc.

· Support long-term planning, resource allocations and scenario analysis

· Participate in annual budgeting process

Analysis:

· Financial modeling within a spreadsheet based environment

· Analyze time series trends related to business changes and provide recommendations

· Maintain and distribute month end reporting requirements

· Develop forecast and provide guidance on variance to actuals

· Ad-hoc analysis responding to business requirements

Business Partner:

· Act as finance partner to functional management team and business line controllers

· Support maintenance of business scorecard performance reporting

· Analyze and measure key performance indicators within operational and financial data

· Prepare monthly reviews of financial metrics, analyze variances

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Strong understanding of financials including Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flows

· Intermediate competencies in financial management and managerial accounting techniques

· Progressive degree of business acumen to provide support in assessing business drivers

· Knowledge of enterprise resource planning, business applications and BI systems

· Continuous improvement attitude with ability and confidence to make recommendations

· Highly responsive, leveraging ability to multi-task, work efficiently and meet tight deadlines

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence and executive presence
