Financial Analyst Associate

Lockheed Martin’s Precision Fires Finance Team is looking for a self-motivated person with a strong education in business, finance or accounting, which is interested in learning and applying all aspects of defense contract budgeting, earned value measurement, forecasting, and analysis and reporting skills, in a fast-paced environment. Candidate will:

Support analysis of actual costs, budget variances, development of Estimate at Completion, maintenance of assigned portion of the cost baseline, preparation of internal and external financial reports, and other tasks in support of the monthly financial and business rhythm.

Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration from an accredited college

Ability to obtain facility access

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills required to effectively communicate with Control Account Managers, Program Management, Senior Program Finance Leadership, Customer Representatives and other financial disciplines

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality are required

Desired skills

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement oriented mindset

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Flexibility in working with a diverse customer base and a variety of assignments is a key requirement

Exposure to Microsoft Office suite, good financial analysis skills

Team player

Earned Value, Proficient in Excel, and WInSight
