Financial Analyst

Description:
Responsible for financial planning, analysis and projection of company finances and assets. Serve as a strategic partner with management to guide and influence long term financial initiatives that positively impact the organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly profit and loss models, balance sheets and other fiscal management reports.

Perform budgeting variance and forecasting analysis for various levels of management.

Assist staff by providing information needed for budget preparation, implementation, and control.

Assemble and summarize complex reports on financial status, risks, and trends.

Provide creative alternatives and recommendations for cost reduction and improved financial performance.

Develop various financial models and conduct benchmarking as requested by management.

Assist in the preparation, analysis and monitoring of short and long-term forecasts for operating and capital statements.

Formulate and provide solutions and work around for system restrictions and organizational problems.

Continually develop and refine internal financial model to meet business needs.

Increase productivity by developing automated procedures that optimize data efficiency and quality.

Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate financial stability for executive management.

Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and re-forecast and analyst fluctuations.

Work closely with Director of Finance and CFO on various projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications

Must have a four-year college degree in Accounting or a business-related field and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

All applicants must have strong experience with any Accounting software and Office 365 applications including but not limited to Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
