Financial Analyst

Based in Sunrise, we’re a national medical group with a growing finance team. We’re seeking

a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for financial and budget reporting and analysis of our division. You’ll wear many hats including analytics, projections, compliance, budgeting, and business modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Month-End Reporting Process (Journal Entries, Generate GL Expense Detail, investigation of charges)
• Gather and verify information with business partners and other key individuals for Budget cycle
• Develop and deliver various training sessions for SG&A budget contributors during the annual budget cycle and participate in the overall budget prep and review.
• Assist with clinical trial budget preparation, follow-up and related communication
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.
• Prepare accruals of conference expenses and submit various re-classes to the Accounting department on a monthly basis.
• Participate in Conference Analysis, Dashboard creation, and Review
• Perform review of clinical research documents (e.g., protocols, informed consent documents, time and effort reports, contracts) to develop clinical research budgets with Principal Investigators, Sponsors, hospitals and other research partners.
• Monitor recording of contract revenue estimates and actual collections.

Experience:

• 3 years work experience in a financial analysis role.
• Proficient in creating financial models.
• Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, Vlookups
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• BS, Accounting, BA or Finance
