Financial Analyst

AWS Finance seeks a Financial Analyst to join the AWS Central Financial Planning and Analysis team. The Financial Analyst should be someone with a passion for providing reporting and improving processes to help drive data-based decision making.

Key job responsibilities will include:

· Becoming the subject matter expert on and owning the delivery of the Weekly Business Review, as well as implementing scrappy automation to reduce the work load

· Partnering with business teams to help them understand the Weekly Business Review process and providing support in deep-diving to answer questions from the business and senior leadership

· Managing and driving improvement of the leadership goal process; communicating clearly and effectively with top leadership and VPs

· Providing analytical support to the team and creating meaningful reports to drive process improvement or business insights

Basic Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

· BA/BS degree in preferably Finance, Accounting, Business, or any other similar analytical field

· Proficiency in Excel

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity with financial reporting software (Cognos/Oracle/SQL)

· Experience working successfully in an ambiguous environment

· Highly analytical and detail-oriented

· 1-2 years of relevant Finance experience

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion

· Excellent written and verbal communication
