Business Consultant Job Opening for a

Golf Course in Casper Wyoming

We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant capable of helping a government entity to advance our goals of continuous growth and increasing market shares. This assignment would be expected to analyze business functions as well as provide financial guidance to the managing Committee of Three Crowns Golf Course. This includes analyzing daily golf course operations and formulating reports for informed practice, system change, improvement, and decision making.

Funding for this assignment will be for an Independent Contractor. The funding for this project is anticipated to be completed in 24 months with the possibility of a permanent assignment. This job would entail working in conjunction with an outside Golf Management Company. Compensation of $70,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze daily course operations
• Perform operational needs analysis, provide recommendations and justifications
• Produce and provides analysis for revenue and rate reports
• Develop opportunities and Business Development
• Collaborate efforts on marketing, accounting, and course management, to provide a unified effort towards course goals and expectations
• Analysis of operational performance deficiencies
• Involved in the budgeting process
• Review the execution of internal controls to maintain company assets
• Monitor the activities and expenses in relation to the capital budget
• Manage P&L activity
• Review balance sheet accounts, including prepaid, accruals, AP and AR
• Objective and non-biased approach towards policies and procedures
• Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed
• Advise the Three Crowns Committee on detailed findings and reports the conclusions to ARAJPB

Requirements:

• Proven Business Management or Project Management experience
• Business Development or Marketing experience
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts, or equivalent training and experience
• Outstanding organizational/management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to interpret financial data
• Golf Operations experience preferred

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
