Position Overview

• Participates with partners in management of subject area to drive financial performance against complex goals.
• Within subject area, responsible for Protection of company assets, application of complex control procedures, and financial planning and reporting Within stated guidelines and policies.
• Participates in active risk management within subject area.
• Participates in building of effective business relationships to achieve goals.
• Participates in the Invention of creative strategies for dealing with constraints and pursuing opportunities.
• Applies analytical techniques which are necessary to gain greater insight and perspective on problems.
• Prepares recommendations based on root cause and alternative solution analysis
• Assist with Capital Budget / Forecast / Variance analysis and reporting
• Assist with asset transfers, capitalizations, and retirements
• Assist with quotation and billing to internal customers for services and equipment provided
• Learn existing MS Excel modeling and maintain and enhance where applicable
• Overhead Cost Center forecast and variance analysis
• Prepare Headcount forecasts Monitor published project schedules and incorporate changes into forecast
• Assist with intercompany postings and journal entries
• Research and implement cost saving measures
• Develop and document departmental procedures for improved efficiency
• Update KPI charts

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Demonstrated leadership and decision making ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Intermediate/Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, with advanced concentration on Excel / Excel formulas.
• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
• Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
• Demonstrates knowledge of organization’s business practices and issues.
• Basic understanding of Cost Accounting
• Previous experience working in a project accounting environment
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Passion for Continuous Improvement
• Experience with computer applications such as: SAP, Access, Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, PowerPoint
