Our Opportunity:

This Finance Manager opportunity is a vital member of the Technology Finance organization that provides direct financial oversight and decision support for Schwab Technology Services and the Application Modernization Program.

This high profile role combines both financial planning with ad-hoc analytics in support of various business initiatives. The position provides opportunities to work directly with senior business executives and finance department leadership in identifying trends and creating forecasts. This role has a strong analytics focus and will require a self-motivated, action-oriented strategic thinker who can prioritize, organize, communicate and collaborate to build relationships across departmental lines, while ensuring deliverables for the entire Technology Finance team are met on-time.

What you’ll do:

• Organize, manage, and communicate the financial planning and monthly variance reporting process for the entire Schwab Technology Services Enterprise in order to inform decision making for both the Enterprise and Corporate
• Be a key partner to the Application Modernization Program Team; managing the consolidation, reporting, and forecasting of financials of the program, including gross spend, expense capitalization, and depreciation
• Work in cross-functional teams to innovate and drive process efficiencies across the business and finance
• Drive to structure and lead analytical and other decision-support projects
• Build strong business partnerships at multiple levels while informing and influencing strategic decisions
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of a complex and challenging business enterprise

What you have:

• An undergraduate degree
• A minimum of 3-5 years of related financial/business analysis and planning experience
• Self-motivated, results-oriented self-starter
• Adept organizational ability
• Superior analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication (written and oral)
• Capability to effectively managing several work streams, deadlines, and projects concurrently
• Ability to build relationships and demonstrate a high level of professional interaction with business VPs and Directors
• Proficiency in sourcing data from multiple database applications and working efficiently to consolidate and summarize large data sets
