Financial Analyst

Suntex is seeking a bright, hard-working Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance and FP&A team. A successful candidate will play a central role in all aspects of Suntex’s Financial Planning activities, including analysis of financial performance and key drivers of value in the business. Specifically, the Analyst will gain exposure to Corporate FP&A, debt financing/restructuring, and Executive-Level reporting. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial models and analysis to support strategic business decisions
  • Maintain and improve the corporate consolidated model and forward looking financial projections for cash forecasting and distribution analysis
  • Develop and produce Executive-Level dashboard for key performance indicators
  • Provide strategic analytical insight for decisions affecting shareholder value
  • Conduct budget to actual variance analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of bank and investor presentations used in sourcing and placing capital
  • Assist with the due diligence process for debt instruments
  • Provide all bank compliance reports relating to debt instruments on-time.
  • Provide proforma debt compliance testing
  • Investigate and help optimize business practices, such as working capital optimization, business segment analysis, etc.
  • Special/Ad-Hoc projects as needed

Education and Experience

  • Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Microsoft Excel, highly preferred
  • Aptitude for financial analysis, especially financial modeling skills
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree with emphasis on finance, business, real estate, or other related fields.
  • Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis
