Financial Analyst

We are looking for a top notched Financial Analyst to support our ATM business located in Overland Park, Kansas. This position report to the Site Controller.

• Execution of routine financial month-end and year-end close processes.
• Cash management, reporting and forecasting
• Use of government compliant ERP system
• Support the annual operating plan (budget) process and frequent forecasting of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Compliance with federal, state and corporate taxes in all of the businesses regions and associated requirements, including but not limited to employment, income, sales and use, and property taxes.
• Preparation and assistance with various financial reports for internal and external purposes.
• Support annual year-end financial audits.
• Support and participation in corporate Internal Control audit.
• Partnership with FP&A function to achieve financial plan objectives.
• Support achievement of all ATM Programmatic contractual and financial objectives
• Support formulation of proposal financial bids and for Program Management sections

• Maintain a high ethical standard of practice, including compliance with all company procedures
• Support and completing government reporting

• Candidate MUST be U.S. citizen or hold U.S. Residency Card
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent field.
• CPA or equivalent industry experience
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• Knowledgeable of GAAP, FAR, DFAR, CAS
• Must have experience with government compliant accounting systems and practices
• Excellent organizational skills and work ethic
• Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact with employees in all departments and functions
• Computer proficiency required and experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent

Preferred

• Minimum three years of Government contracting accounting experience
• PeopleSoft or Oracle financial systems preferred.
• Experience in the Air Traffic Management / Airline Operations / Airport Operations/ DoD programs or similar Aviation operational domain
