Finance & Planning Analyst

Finance & Planning Analyst will provide planning & finance support for the West Texas Region management team. Specific responsibilities include preparation of monthly financial reporting package (financial, capex, KPI’s); preparation and tracking of cash calls, budget and forecast data; preparation and maintenance of project master schedule. In addition to financial metrics will need to be able to prepare materials related operations (exp. Production, downtime, Spud to RR, etc.) Assist with valuation for WTX bolt on opportunities, trades, etc. Prepare deliverables for our Investor.

Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Preparation of monthly management reporting package including financial metrics and CAPEX and Key Performance Indicators tracking
• Assistance in preparation/compilation of production, OPEX, and CAPEX budget and forecast data for submission to Corporate Planning Group
• Preparation and tracking of production, AFEs, JIBs, cash calls, etc. to financial partner TPG
• Development and maintenance of DrillCo Master Operation Schedule
• Assistance in putting together and running economic models as needed for region project economics

Required Skills

• SAP and BW system knowledge
• Experience with BPC Financial Planning software a plus
• Microsoft Office applications expertise
• Financial modeling experience with MS EXCEL
• Ability to work in an integrated, multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks & areas of responsibility concurrently
• Solid presentation / communication skills
• Large scale data organization, integration & synthesis
• Detail orientated
• Ability to learn new software quickly (Wellspring, Wellview, TOW, etc.)

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus, Finance concentration recommended
• 3 + years Oil & Gas related experience
• Oil & Gas Operational Knowledge
