Finance Manager – Miami, United States

Reporting to the Head of Finance for the East Coast, the Finance Manager is a senior position within the North American finance team. Specifically the Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation, control and accuracy of the P&L and Balance Sheets of Soho Beach House and Soho House Cipura (Miami) LLC

Primary Functions:

• Weekly and Monthly P+L reporting
• Business partnering with the senior operations team
• Maintain the balance sheet for monthly review, including adhering to corporate checklist.
• Annual budgets and forecasting
• Specific Accountabilities:
• Weekly flash P&L reporting
• Month end closing
• Annual budgets
• Weekly forecasting
• Enforce standard operating procedures
• Monthly sales and use tax calculation and filing
• Correct any operational mistakes
• Schedule, hire and train the staff
• Ensure accurate PO process
• Ensure departments provide expenses and accruals to accounting.
• Monitor labor and operational expenses.
• Manage check book and month end process
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Head of Finance for the East Coast and Senior Management of the 2 Miami locations
• Work closely with the wider finance team in supporting and achieving the departmental goals and objectives
• Attend Weekly Operational Meetings as well as monthly HOD meetings
• Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner in order to resolve all guest and staff difficulties
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service within the department
• Assist in additional tasks/projects as needed

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Passion for our industry
• Previous work experience of at least 4 years in a relative position in our industry
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organization skills.
• Proven team management
• Knowledge of Sage 200 accounting system preferred but not required
• Advance Excel skills
