Finance Manager

Technica LLC seeks to fill a Finance Manager position with responsibilities within the Finance Division on a Government contract with a place of performance at Ft. Bliss, TX.

Description:

• Provide management and oversight onsite.
• Participates in timesheet administration.
• Review timesheets for accuracy.
• Review project reports.
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy.
• Participates in invoice submittal process.
• Set up and manage project numbers in Deltek Costpoint and Time Collection.
• Participates in the development of cost controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status.
• Participates in cost, schedule, contract performance, variance, and risk analysis, small pricing efforts, and prepares reports as required.
• Check for accuracy on invoices entered in Deltek Costpoint.
• Provides creative leadership from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in cost estimation and management.
• Provides regular reporting to senior management on cost issues.

Experience:

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Time Collection preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office a must.
• Able to communicate appropriately concerning personnel matters.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Possess verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must have three years of experience with Government contracting and finance.
• Demonstrated ability to create and meet schedules and perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to work with other departments across multiple locations to solve challenging problems.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
