Project Assignment:

• Creating a project planning/budgeting tool – creating an ROI model the team can use, creating a budgeting and forecasting template/capital spend tracker that can be used for events and projects around the campus
• Process Mapping – documenting and creating a formal process map/timeline for the various reporting and responsibilities. This allows involvement in most of finance departments responsibilities (ie: working with agencies, working with floor management, as well as corporate finance department duties and responsibilities)
• Provide support through agency reporting – involvement in scorecard, maintaining accurate hours reporting, improving transfer hours accuracy

Additional responsibilities:

• Provide support in preparing Month-End financial accruals
• Provide support in monthly Forecasting responsibilities
• Support creation and management of financial reports
• Support creation of formal processes and timelines for financial reporting/deadlines (ie month end, forecast, CPU reporting)
• Support ad-hoc analysis for the distribution center, examples include labor hour planning and productivity planning
• Day-to-day support of our accounts payable process
• Day-to-day support of cost tracking and management

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Working toward a Business Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
• Completion of intermediate level finance & accounting courses
• A fundamental understanding of accrual based accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
