The Finance Department of Spreetail tells the story of “why” behind the financials. You work almost as much within your own department as you do directly with each department in order to make sure that they are making financially sound decisions.

As a Finance Intern, you thrive when working with large data sets and ambiguity. You enjoy finding out background information as to why the numbers are the way that they are, and are able to communicate that information. You also can come forward with solutions to address any changes that need to be made in order to improve the business.

The internship will include an individual special project as well as day-to-day Finance team activities. Specifically, you will help enhance standard monthly reporting and work with other departments to identify trends in their departments. You will work with evaluating the variances to the current projections and addressing any adjustments that need to be made.

You should have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Some experience with SQL
• Knowledge of accounting systems (Microsoft GP)
