Finance Analyst I

We currently have an Finance Analyst I career opportunity at our Miami, FL location.

1. ROLE

The Financial Analyst I of NOCCA Region must give full support to the Regional Financial Analyst of the Region, review and analyse the financial data of all companies under his/her scope, support them, consolidate the financial information of them, update management reports and give full support on the Budget and Forecast process. In addition, control office payments and lens consultants payments are also in the role of this position.

2. MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

• Review the financial data of all entities:

a. Gives support to the Regional Financial Analyst of the Region and also to all NOCCA’s companies to ensure that all financial reports will be prepared according to Essilor rules
b. Ensures that all financial reports will be reported within the deadlines
c. Direct support for the financial report of the companies of the Region

d. Support the Regional Financial Analyst to ensure that all new reports requested by Essilor will be prepared and reported

• Give support on non closing activities to all NOCCA’s companies (i.e. Essilor procedures implementation, iCare campaign,…)
• Support the Regional Financial Analyst on the consolidation of the financial information of all NOCCA’s companies and update management reports for Top management and HQ

a. Flash sales
b. P&L
c. Working Capital
d. Accounts receivable
e. Analysis and explanations related to Actual result versus Budget
f. Monthly Report
g. Sales and volumes report
h. Others requested reports

• Support the process of Budget and Forecast

a. Work together with each entity
b. Support on the consolidation of the financial data and give all necessary support to the Senior Financial Analyst and General Director of the Region

• Control office expenses and coordinate their payments
• Control and coordinate the monthly payments to Essilor lens consultants
• Systems that need to be used/accessed: CARS (Essilor System) and Marg0 (ELAC data warehouse)

3. PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (ie: Accounting, Administration, Economy) and/or equivalent experience in a related field;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel (advanced);
• At least 2 or more years of experience in finance area;
• Accounting and Financial Planning knowlodge;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Accounting knowlodge, including US GAAP and IFRS;
• Speak English and Spanish is necessary;
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills;
• Drive for results;
• Team work and interpersonal savvy;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
