Finance Analyst – Corporate Close & Consolidations – FIN0008824

This is a Financial Analyst position in CorporateAccounting Consolidation & Reporting Team. Candidate will play a key role in the reporting of total company results. Role includes performing consolidationprocedures and preparing reports and analyses of total company results forsenior leadership. Work involves a highlevel of independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, creativity andinitiative.

Responsibilities

Performconsolidation procedures for monthly/quarterly accounting close for both LegalEntity and Country of Sale

Coordinate with regions/functional unitsglobally to complete monthly/quarterly close, resolve issues and perform otheranalyses/projects

Identify, interpret and analyze potentialaccounting risks and issues

Maintainunderstanding of and ability to apply accounting and financial reportingstandards (GAAP) and SEC rules and regulations

Prepare reporting packages for management, whichinclude consolidated results packages

Assist in preparation of SEC footnotedisclosures

R eview processes and identify opportunities forimprovement to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of error

dentify/correct inconsistent data, solveproblems and develop new methods of analysis

Develop and present data to other members of theorganization

Provide and maintain support documentation forapproval of accounting work and ongoing internal controls testing

Perform SOX self-assessment and testing

Maintain frequent contact and perform variousfinancial activities with others outside the work group, including FinancePlanning & Analysis, Investor Relations, Financial Communications, RegionalConsolidation Teams, external auditors, SOX auditors, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Requiredskills

Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience/ training

Highly proficient computer skills in MicrosoftOffice (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

2+ years finance/accounting experience includingcombination of public/private

High attention to detail

Demonstrated problem solving and analyticalabilities where problems are complex

High levels of initiative, creativity,independent judgment and decision making

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstratedcommitment to teamwork and partnerships

Strong oral and written skill

Ability to prioritize assignments/projects andmulti-task within restricted time constraints

Basic PreferredSkills

Experience/strong knowledge of Hyperionfinancial systems

CPA certification preferred
