Finance Analyst

Employment is contingent upon contract award.

The Finance Analyst will help to ensure the integrity of the company’s accounting/financial data as they examine, verify, balance and reconcile various types of financial transactions, reports and analysis.

Responsibilities:

    • Analyzes the day-to-day project financial processes to ensure contract compliance and accuracy to include budgeting processes, forecasting/financial modeling, intercompany/interdivisional financial activity, capital planning, issuance of financial statements and related reports, financial analysis of revenue, expenses, and audits, and financial management of policies and procedures.
    • Assists management with the following: Preparation and management of consolidated financial forecasts/budgets, participation in annual financial planning, and preparation of ad hoc reports/analysis as requested
    • Supervises the financial functions for all assigned projects.
    • Prepares budgets and obtains approval from executive management and corporate.
    • Facilitates and approves all financial and workload forecasts.
    • Monitors monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts with actual results and reports on variances during each interval to the Operations Manager.
    • Facilitates and approves all invoices before submission to the Operations Manager.
    • Performs internal monitoring of financial processes and coordinates all external financial audits.
    • Maintains updated knowledge of the program, including policies and procedures as referenced in the employee manual and other policies adopted by corporate, the project, and client.
    • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration with a concentration in finance or health administration
  • Three years of work experience with general ledger, financial analysis/budgeting, forecasting, and statistical analysis
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial data
  • Experience and literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and database management programs
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
