Finance Analyst

Hoxton Circle are currently partnering with a private, luxury fashion retail business. They have a fantastic reputation on a global scale which is growing stronger all the time with new store openings and a larger online presence.

They are currently looking to hire a Finance Analyst to join a very lean team. This role offers exceptional visibility and ability for the right individual to really gain valuable experience across a range of activities. It reports into the Director of FP&A, this is an individual who prides themselves on the training and support they give to members of their team. The individual who is successful with this role will put themselves and their career in a brilliant position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly financial close process
• Analyze gross margin on a monthly basis
• Variance Analysis – compare actual to budget/forecast
• Monitor P&L performance and provide commentary
• Assist in the preparation of, annual budgets, and long-term strategic planning initiatives
• Monitor and track business spends, identify areas of risk and highlight to senior stakeholders
• Develop relationships both within and outside the finance and accounting division
• Ad-hoc analysis

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Ideally 2 years within Financial Analysis roles
• Strong excel skills and modeling abilities
• Ability to work within busy periods, especially during month-end
